Moses InlineText Leveraging Step

Jump to: navigation, search

This step leverage the text of a Moses InlineText file into its original document. The Moses file can be created using the Moses InlineText Extraction Step.

Takes: Filter events. Sends: Filter events.

The original and the Moses files must correspond exactly, segment for segment, and inside each segment, line for line.

If the original document in an XLIFF document, the leveraged translation is placed in <alt-trans> elements, otherwise the leveraged translation is placed in the target text.

Copy the leveraged translation into the target — The leveraged translation is attached as an annotation to its corresponding target. Set this option when you want, in addition, the leveraged translation to be copied into the target content.

Overwrite any existing target text — Set this option if you want the leveraged translation to be copied into the target content, even if a content already exists.

In XLIFF, force the new <alt-trans> in the output — If the input document is in XLIFF, depending on the configuration, new <alt-trans> elements may or may not be allowed in the output. See the "XLIFF Filter" page for more details. Set this option to override the configuration and accept new <alt-trans> in the output.

Use the <g> notation in new <alt-trans> elements — Set this option to use the <g>/<x> notation for inline codes (instead of the <bpt>/<ept>/<ph> notation) in the added <alt-trans> elements.
